Before joining the Fisher Dore team, Brendan acted in a variety of compensation disputes, including motor vehicle, workplace and public liability claims. Most recently, he has had the conduct of claims for catastrophically-injured clients and victims of sexual abuse.
Brendan prides himself on building strong relationships with clients by establishing a high level of trust. He understands the importance of being easily accessible to his clients and ensuring they have a clear understanding of their legal issues.
Brendan advocates on behalf of clients in a considered, strong and respectful manner. He enjoys the challenge of litigation and working with clients from all walks of life. In order to achieve the best possible outcome for his clients, Brendan practices with the philosophy that each client deserves to be heard and understood.
He has instructed counsel in trials in the Magistrates, District and Supreme Courts and also has litigation experience in the Anti-Discrimination Commission, Queensland Industrial Relations Commission, Queensland Civil and Administrative Tribunal and the Federal Circuit Court.
With combined degrees in Law and Psychological Science, Brendan has a particular interest in psychological injuries and workplace bullying. He completed his honours thesis on the treatment of psychological injuries in the workplace. Brendan also has experience in estate planning and litigation.
