From the very beginning of his legal studies and into his career, Michael knew he wanted to work in plaintiff personal injury and compensation law because he knew it would be meaningful and provide personal and professional satisfaction.
In this regard, a driving factor forging this path was his principled ideal of standing up for everyday people who have been injured or wronged through no fault of their own and who suddenly found their lives turned upside down, with them also being up against powerful and well-resourced insurers.
For Michael, the law has always been a tool for levelling the playing field and learning to operate its machinery of the court system to benefit plaintiffs in need of assistance has been a guiding principle throughout his career.
That sense of purpose has only deepened over time. Now, heading up the Fisher Dore compensation team, Michael brings the same passion and commitment to every client that drove him into this field in the first place and who continue to motivate him and his team to fight for their entitlements.
Whilst, amongst the most rewarding aspects of his role is assisting to successfully solve complex legal cases, it is really helping the people affected by those problems, and their appreciation for that assistance, that spurs Michael on.
