Motor Vehicle accidents

If you have been injured in, or as a result of, a motor vehicle accident, whether as a driver, passenger, cyclist, pedestrian or bystander / witness, you may have the right to seek damage (monetary compensation) for any resulting injury.  This includes if the injury is physical and/or psychological, including, for example, a spinal injury, brain injury, soft tissue / whiplash type injury and/or fracture.    

You may also have the right to seek damages if a family member or loved one is involved in a motor vehicle accident or if the accident results in the death of a family member or loved one.  This includes potentially having the right to seek damages for loss of dependency, loss of services and/or loss of consortium and/or for any resulting psychiatric injury (known as a nervous shock).

The above includes if the vehicle involved in the accident is unidentified or unregistered.
