Beenleigh Magistrates Court Result

Our team achieved another great result in the Beenleigh Magistrates Court.

Our client was charged with his 3rd disqualified driving offence.

Previously he had received 5 months imprisonment to serve 1 month, and a 3 year disqualification of his licence. Unfortunately, he then drove with less than 6 weeks remaining of his disqualification.

Our firm submitted for the client’s immediate release on parole. We highlighted the client’s family support, his recent employment, and care of his child. The Presiding Magistrate accepted our persuasive submissions and ordered that the client be released immediately on parole for a period of 6 months. This allowed the client to remain in the community and tend to his obligations. The client also received the minimum licence disqualification period allowed, being 2 years.
