He has established himself within the profession as a very capable and reliable lawyer. He appears daily before the Magistrates Court, District Court and Supreme Court on a range of matters. These include committal hearings, arraignments, sentence proceedings, trials, bail applications, domestic violence proceedings and traffic matters. Hamish also appears for clients before the Mental Health Review Tribunal in hospitals and community health centres in Brisbane.
He particularly enjoys the cut and thrust of court work and is a keen and confident advocate for his clients.
Hamish holds a Bachelor of Laws from the University of Queensland and a Post Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice from the College of Law. He joined the Fisher Dore team in 2016 and was admitted as a solicitor of the Supreme Court of Queensland and the High Court of Australia.
